The Canadian International Peace Conference 2025 is an innovative and educational platform designed to foster dialogue, collaboration, and actionable solutions for global peace and sustainability. This event aligns with key UN Sustainable Development Goals by integrating education, entrepreneurship, and cultural connections to address societal and environmental challenges comprehensively.
The conference uniquely promotes a holistic approach to peace, emphasizing not just the absence of war (negative peace) but also the presence of essential needs such as clean energy, food security, equity, and empowerment (positive peace). True peace requires the elimination of poverty, injustice, ignorance, and barriers to collaboration, all of which can destabilize communities.
Bringing together researchers, professionals, policymakers, activists, and students, the conference will feature keynotes, workshops, research presentations, and cultural performances aimed at promoting peace and nonviolence. Attendees will explore pathways to sustainable peace through inclusive practices, reconciliation, and community engagement, while addressing the root causes of conflict and empowering lasting change.
